Ladakh Development Foundation seeks to provide technological advancements, education, and direct volunteer involvement in all aspects of agriculture, alternative energy, medical, dental, education, and spiritual development to the remote regions of Ladakh that currently receive little or no humanitarian support. The Ladakh Development Foundation is organized for the specific purpose of assisting the people of Ladakh and surrounding regions, in all aspects of rural development with the goal of empowering the people of Ladakh to improve their lives and community.

The silhouette of the mountain and the curve of the rainbow in the photograph to the right was the basis for The Ladakh Development Foundation logo. This peak is one of the mountains in the Zanskar Valley and the photograph was taken by one of our board members in 1998.
